We are delighted to announce that master’s degree students from the MSc in Environmental Management at HKU recently conducted an engaging workshop on the theme of Carbon Audit, as part of an environmental education joint initiative between HKU and TLHK. This event took place on April 7th on our campus, with participation from over 40 TLHK S3 Geography students.
During the workshop, TLHK students were introduced to key concepts such as carbon emissions, carbon taxes, and their relevance to our daily lives. The session featured an innovative board game designed by the students, which allowed participants to explore topics like sustainable building practices, green transportation, and waste reduction in a fun and interactive way. Participants gained valuable insights into sustainability topics and learned how to assess their individual carbon footprints, promoting personal responsibility and awareness.
We look forward to more collaborations that inspire our students and contribute to their growth as environmentally conscious citizens.
