The COVID pandemic has opened up opportunities for S5 girls to explore the possibilities of using technology to enhance the aesthetic impacts when staging a Zoom performance.
In one of the online modules, students worked in a pair to present a duologue based on “My Fair Lady” using animated and visual images to create blocking and other theatrical elements while voice acting different characters. This new Art (low) Tech experience has paved way for further exploration, including camera acting, Zoom aesthetic, etc. in our school-based S5 ASD Drama Production curriculum in the future.
